To make it a center of intense intellectual inquiry, IQRA University Islamabad Campus Library shares with the University the aspiration to be the most dynamic learning and research environment in the country.

About The Library

The IQRA University Library Islamabad Campus providing excellent services and facilities to fulfill the information needs of its clients. The library is equipped with state-of-the-art systems and technologies. It has a collection of over 5,000 volumes comprising printed and electronic information resources, apart from this 40 plus printed peer-reviewed journals on different subject are available. There are above 50,000 E-Books available on Intranet for faculty and students. The library is managed by qualified and experienced staff, dedicated to provide high quality remarkable services to its users. Library is in constant special focus for ensuring quality services. The Library's mission is to make its resources available to its users, in their core instructional and research requirements through utilizing the best possible resources, systems and services. The main purpose and aim is to facilitate, encourage and support the academic and research activities of IQRA faculty members and students. It provides a full range of services that include loans, online information searching by Library of congress Z39.50 gateway. It also provides reference services, viewing of audiovisual materials including CDs and DVDs. IQRA has access to 23,000 e-journals and thousand of e-books of HEC National Digital Library of Pakistan under the PERI program of INASP (International Network for the Availability of Scientific Publication). Workshops for the proper usage of Digital Resources are arranged on regular basis for all classes in order to help and to facilitate their research work. Library also provides DDS (Document Delivery Services) to those faculty members, who are making research in their respective fields. Required research papers are sent to them via email.
