Library Rules & Regulations:
 
Library Membership:

  1. To get membership for the library a person will have to fill Library Membership Form which is available in the library. For faculty / staff members only one passport size picture is required to be attached with the membership form and for students 2 pictures are required.

  2. Students will get a Machine Readable Library Membership Card within one week after he/she submit the membership form in the library with all requirements.

  3. The library card is non-transferable to any other student

  4. In case of loss / damage of library card immediately inform library staff,  to get another duplicate card an amount of Rs.100 (one hundred only)  to be paid in the finance department.
Circulations Rules:
 

  1. Reference Books / Text Books / Periodicals / Journals will  not be issued

  2. Borrowers and readers must inspect the books at the time of issuance; in case of any defect / damage he /she should call the attention of the librarian to it

  3. Books will be loaned for a maximum period of 14 days which is extendable provided a request for renewal is made before the expiry date

  4. Borrower who keep the books after the expiry date will be fined Rs. 5.00 per day

  5. If a borrower loses / damages / mutilates a borrowed book he / she will have to pay full cost or replace the book

  6. Students will have to return all the books one week before the of preparation leave for examination

  7. Appropriate action shall be taken against the borrowers and readers who misuse this facility

  8. Only 2 books at one time can be barrowed by the student
General Rules:
 

  1. Library remains open from 8:00 A.M. to 10:.00 PM  throughout the year except in the holy month of  Ramazan which will be operational according to Ramazan timings

  2. Use of Library is open for all students, permanent faculty, visiting faculty and staff  members

  3. Deposit your personal belongings at the Property Counter

  4. The Marking and Defacing of any publication is  strictly forbidden

  5. Smoking, Eatables and Drinks are not allowed in the Library

  6.  Mobile Phones to be switched off or to be kept on Silent mode in the Library Premises

  7. All readers are required to maintain discipline in the Library.

  8. Library Staff will not be responsible for readers personal books
