Chancellor Dear Parents and Candidates
We are proud to welcome your interest for admission at Iqra University, Islamabad Campus, which enters its third intake in a year of hectic developments. The year 2004 has been a milestone in consolidating sound foundations of academic programmes and curricula as well as commencing a healthy tradition of co and extra curricular activities.

The serene Islamabad Campus is blessed with an equally committed team of qualified academicians in addition to an untiring staff and a dynamic students community; thus completing a team that endeavours to strive for highest standards of learning. The introduction of new programmes like Law, Technology Development and Fine Arts in addition to consolidation of pioneer programmes like Development Students and Fashion Design gives Iqra a truly universal outlook. Meanwhile, the faculty of management sciences and computer sciences are striving to offer new specializations like WTO, CFA and Wireless Communications, etc to name a few in the long list of intended programmes.

The Islamabad Campus has the expertise of reputed PhDs from known schools of the world to lead by example and I am pleased to share with you that development of architecture labs, import of no less than 10, 000 books on different topics as well as review of academic programmes by the University's Academic Council early this year are all steps in the right direction. I congratulate Mr. Ibrahim Khan, Project Director and Dr Jamil Ahmad, Dean, Iqra University, Islamabad Campus for his exemplary leadership to build sound organizational procedures and regulations that in my opinion, gives Iqra University, Islamabad Campus, a lead over its contemporaries.

Last but not the least I congratulate the Iqra University, Islamabad Campus, on securing top positions in literary activities like declamations and debates, essay writing, drama and poetry in different all Pakistan inter university competitions held in Spring 2004. This has consolidated Iqra as a name for over all personality development of its students…an initiative that ensures parents of a comprehensive grooming of their child besides securing a degree which is diversified as well as market driven.
